Speed-e-Poxy orangepixel

Two part epoxide tile adhesive and grout.

 SpeedEPoxyPic

Introduction and applications

Biscem Speed-e-Poxy is an easy to use grouting and adhesive. It is suitable for bedding and grouting all types of cladding, mosaic, ceramic, fully vitrified tiles, quarry tiles and stone slabs in areas such as power showers, kitchen worktops, battery rooms, swimming pools, dairies, hospitals etc.

It is particularly suited where conventional cement based materials do not satisfy the requirements of hygiene, mechanical strength or resistance to chemical, thermal or corrosive attack. The formulation is such that joint widths up to 10mm can be filled without excessive sagging on horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Quality and standards

Biscem Speed-e-Poxy is distributed under a BSI approved quality system to EN ISO 9002.

Features

  • 2 part: Speed-e-Poxy is a two part system and the complete contents of the two pots must be completely mixed together.
  • Colours: good range of colours to suit most applications.
  • Durable: cured epoxide grout joints are impermeable to water and other liquids, hygienic and resistant to most chemicals and abrasive forces.
Colours Grey, Black, White, Ivory & Brown
Packaging available in 1 kg and 5 kg containers.

Useful information

Coverage depends on thickness and depth of tile joint, e.g. 150 x 150 mm tiles with joint width 5 mm and depth 3 mm requires nearly 0.3 kg per square metre.

Speed-e-Poxy sets after approximately 30 minutes, and can be lightly trafficked after.

Speed-e-Poxy sets hard and is very difficult to remove if allowed to set on the tiles.  Excess material should be removed before curing by wiping with a good sponge (not foam).
