Introduction and applications
Biscem Timber-Fix is a specially prepared tile adhesive suitable for adhering ceramic tiles to tongue & groove, wood and composite boards. The use of plywood overlayment can be removed by correctly screwing down the boards and gluing where possible.

Timber-Fix is suitable for use in internal dry floor applications, such as kitchens and bathrooms, but should not be used in wet areas or areas subject to frequent wetting. Where Biscem Timber-Fix is used to take up slight vibration or movement, it must also be used as the grouting material.

Biscem Timber-Fix conforms to the requirements of BS 5980 Type 2 Class B.

Useful information
A half moon notched trowel should always be used to achieve full coverage.
Biscem Timber-Fix sets by drying and hence use of low absorbency tiles and substrates will significantly increase the setting time.
Temperature and ambient humidity can also affect the setting time
